Lothar_SA
Opening the Resource Manager and selecting a linked file, it shows me the correct path but fails to jump to this directory when I click "Show in Explorer". Unfortunately this is not consistent, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I couldn't figure out the rule. I am using the release 1.8.5.
walt.farrell
There is one situation that I've noticed. Sometimes when I click on "Show in Explorer" it does show me the file, but the File Explorer window does not come to the front. I have to go down to the task bar, where I will find it highlighted and waiting for me. Staff Gabe Posted September 3, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 3, 2020 Hi both, It seems to be fine here. Any idea if those resources were stored on a network/removable drive?
Lothar_SA
All files are locally stored. In one document I have 4 links - all pointing to the same directory. Two of them are afdesign files, no problems with them to be shown in the explorer. Two others are jpegs and the explorer shows only "My PC". All files are loaded properly into the document and also can be seen and opened within the directory. On the other hand jpegs in the same directory but in another document give me no problems. I have no clue.
Staff Gabe Posted September 3, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 3, 2020 If you can consistently replicate this, can you zip up your resources and afpub file and attach them here?

Lothar_SA
Done. I found another file in which all linked documents behave liked described. But having all files in the same directory, everything works.
