Boldlinedesign
I know this question does not belong here specifically but I don't know where to ask forum-specific questions. Why is there a limit to the number of reactions one can give in a day? How is that calculated? I reacted to a few yesterday and had no limit. Today I liked two posts and a pop up told me I was done for the day haha. More just curious why it is as it is

I think it’s so that reputations aren’t boosted artificially. If we had unlimited reactions at our disposal, I could ‘like’ every single one of your posts and thereby give you a higher score than other users who get a few positive reactions from a lot of people. And if you got a lot of likes from one particular user, you might feel more inclined to return the favour. 40 minutes ago, Boldlinedesign said: I reacted to a few yesterday and had no limit. Or rather, you didn’t quite reach your limit! That’s why just two more ‘likes’ triggered that message. It seems to be a rolling daily limit. If you wait an hour or two you should find that you can react to some more posts. Boldlinedesign
thanks @Alfred - that makes a lot more sense why there's a limit and how the limit works like a rolling quota. Alfred
Boldlinedesign
Thank you for sacrificing one of your "likes" for my measly post and thereby boosting of my reputation. Your generosity has not gone unnoticed Have a great day! Alfred
