lili.b
Hello! Purchase Affinity Photo on August 16 and for some reason, the software does not install itself on my Mac's hard drive. I do a search on my computer and only find the installation drive for Affinity, the software is not found anywhere. I have to install it every time I want to use it... Not sure what I can do on my end, I can't de-install and re-install since there is nothing do de-install. My computer is recent and meets all specifications for Affinity software. Currently on Mojave 10.14.6 Help please. Edited August 30, 2020 by lili.b added info
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @lili.b. The application is delivered as a DMG file, which is a disk image. To install any application delivered in DMG format you open the DMG file (double-click), then you drag the program out of the DMG to your Applications folder, which installs it. I have installed a lot of softwares but I have to say it's the first time I have to install one this way. Blende21
Usually there is an installer that asks you to do it. Like „Drag the image of the Application to this spot on the screen“. This does exactly the same, but guides the user to do it in a more consistent way.
