Veena
Hi, Since the last Affinity update my photos are looking much darker after export than they do when viewing in Affinity. I use a Windows 10 laptop and haven't made any changes to it. I haven't changed the settings in the export box. I only edit and save JPEGs. Here are some screenshots - in Affinity you can see the windows on the right of the picture, but after export there is just a big black mass there. Really grateful for any advice on fixing this. Thank you 🙂
Staff stokerg Posted September 2, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 2, 2020 Hi @Veena and Welcome to the Forums, How does the exported image look if you open it back up in Affinity? I believe the Photos app in Windows isn't colour managed so could explain for the difference.

Hi, The exported image looks fine when I open it back up in Affinity, but very dark in Windows and when I post it to my photography challenge websites. I've been using Affinity without any problems since May 2019, this problem only started recently, I think after the last update. I haven't changed my laptop settings so I don't think it's that. For now I'm using another editing programme and hoping that the next update will sort this out. Thanks.
