Wong2020
Downloaded Affinity Publisher for mac, double-click on affinity-publisher-1.8.4.dmg, move icon to Applications folder, Trying to launch application: after verifying the software, dialogue box appears to ask if I am sure to open the downloaded software from the Internet, Click Open, Nothing happens, the icon at the sidebar does not jump up and down. Though the imac that I am going to install the application onto has an old version of OS X: 10.8.5, I have also tried to install it onto a newer mac machine, but with the same result. Any suggestion to the problem is much appreciated.
Old Bruce
Hi and welcome to the forums @Wong2020 It appears that your OS is too old. OS 10.9 Mavericks is the oldest supported OS. Quote Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
Wong2020
Yeh, you're right, when I tried to install it on another mac, I was supposing that it is newer than 10.8.5, but in fact it is not, after upgrading, the application is successfully launched. Thanks.
