Can't export in Affinity Publisher 1.8.4

Recommended Posts

I just can't export to PDF in Publisher, select PDF, select the options but never start the export. I have 8 months working whit publisher and never have a problem exporting until now.  i don't receibe a message or a error, just don't start the export. I try updating publisher, reinstaling publisher and just can't export.

Specs:
Macbook Pro 2012
OS Catalina 10.15.6
12G Ram
Publisher 1.8.4

Thanks.

It's a long shot but restarting the computer may solve the problem.

Just to try and clarify what is happening…
Are you saying that you:
* open the Export dialog (via “File → Export”);
* then change your settings;
* then press the Export button;
* then select a file location and/or type the file name;
* and then press OK;
* and then nothing seems to happen at all?
No pop-ups, no error messages, no sounds, no flashing, or anything, and the software just caries on as normal, as though you have just pressed Cancel instead?
If so, have you tried looking for the exported item? Sometimes when I export a simple document I don’t see anything happening as it’s exported quickly enough that I don’t get any progress dialog. Also, sometimes I have accidentally exported to the wrong place so I look for the exported item but it’s actually somewhere else.
If not, then you might have to give us a step-by-step account of exactly what you are doing so we can try to replicate it.

Just like that.

export > PDF (high or low Wuality) and nothing happen.

I discover if i convert al the font to curves it works. I don't know wy, because are the same typography i use the last edition of my magazine and i don't have problem. And today discover Affinity Designer have the same problem, so, i think is a problem from my OS or something.

Possibly turning on logging for pdflib will help?
