Hokusai
Sorry, I don't know if this is a bug or something that is there by design. When I make a text box, with black text the text box is filled with white and I can't see the things under it. I have to convert it to curves and then ungroup it and then delete the white box. I don't remember it working like this before. If my explanation doesn't make sense, please see the attached screenshot. Thanks in advance for any help and sorry if this is an issue that has already been dealt with.
walt.farrell
You might check the Character studio panel to make sure that you haven't specified a background color for your text, @Hokusai. Hokusai
Thanks Walt, That is what it was. I have never used that before, in fact I didn't even know you could do that so I'm not sure how it got set to white like that? Thanks for clearing that up (pun intended). Even though I've been using Designer since the start, I feel that there are still many things that I haven't used or seen yet! It is always a pleasure to learn something new, thank you! walt.farrell
You're welcome. And I'm happy that's what it was, as the alternatives I know of are a bit harder to fix.
