Can you please advise me – with my Affinity Photo 1.8.4 when I select from menu bar any items (example View) and a drop down box appears (example studio) – then toggle down to next selection (example library) the opening dropdown box appears to the left side of the first dropdown box – arrows in the first dropdown box point to the right side.

This was reversed in my first Affinity Photo.

Is this something that I have done?

I have attached a sample for you.

I think you did not  change this yourself. Since version 1.8.4 some Studio panels (like Library and Macro) are shown in the so called 'Left Studio'  collection of panels whereas the (more default) panels like Histogram, Colour and Brushes are shown in the 'Right Studio' collection of panels.

There's also an option to show or hide the complete 'Left Studio' or the complete 'Right Studfio'.

Why some panels show up Left or Right?  Hmm... still figuring that out.

Thank you for your answers - still no luck - I have just downloaded version 1.8.5 and still the same result as attached image.

Second dropdown box goes to the right.  Does not effect my Affinity at all.  Thank you for your trouble & answers.  Just an old fellow enjoying Affinity.

Did you close and re-open Affinity Photo after changing

Because this is a feature of the OS, I would expect the need to restart the PC, not just restart the application.

As I remember it, neither a Windows nor an application restart was required when I last changed that setting. But it was awhile ago, so that memory may be flawed :)
