My Affinity Photo version were 0.0.1 versions behind my Designer version, i tried to import an Designer file into it, but i just showed an error massege. To clarify, you're saying that you have (for example) Photo 1.8.4 and Designer 1.8.5, or perhaps Photo 1.8.3 and Designer 1.8.4? Can you give us the exact version numbers, please? And, working in Photo, you tried to do a File > Place of a Designer file you had saved in the higher-level release? Do you know what error message you got? Did Photo crash at that point, or did something else happen? Are you on Mac or Windows? In your Preferences for Affinity Photo, in the Performance section, do you have a File Recovery Interval selected?
