Arp_148
I want to change color of a very thready complex shape. The shape only has one color: white. The background is png-transparent. How?
walt.farrell
Is the shape one object (layer)? What kind of layer is it? (A screenshot of the object and the Layers panel would help.) What application are you using? firstdefence
If this is a PNG a simple recolour adjustment filter should do the job. Arp_148
Also, I wonder how do you change a specific color in a multicolor image? been searching for it but all I find is a bunch of people working with the selection tool on non complex shapes. Aim is to use like the color picker/pipette-tool, pick a color and then edit this color in the entire image. Thanks !
firstdefence
Which app are you using? You can select a colour if it’s a block of colour and make selection based on that selected colour, you can make a selection based on a genre i.e. reds, blues, greens etc, but it can be a bit hit and miss, you can also select via tonal range, but selections generally require the object to be rasterised (pixels) Like Walt has requested having a screenshot of the image you are working on helps us to help you, else we are making a lot of assumptions. https://affinity.help/photo/English.lproj/pages/Selections/selections_create.html Quote iMac 27" 2019 Sequoia 15.0 (24A335), iMac 27" Affinity Designer, Photo & Publisher V1 & V2, Adobe, Inkscape, Vectorstyler, Blender, C4D, Sketchup + more...
