dontmindx2
Is it possible to transfer your purchase from the serif store to the App Store on Mac. I purchased both designer and photo via the App Store and it's easier to keep track of updates this way. So was wondering if it was possible to transfer my publisher purchase as manually updating is kind of tedious. Thanks
Staff SFurniss Posted August 19, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 19, 2020 Sorry, it would not be possible to move orders placed with us to the Apple Store or vice versa.

Lajeunesse
Hi, this was also my request. Why ? Some issue with updates and I am now on Big Sur, I never remember which of the 3 Apps I bought at Serif and those I got via Apple Store or iTune store. All was bought for Apple (Mac and iPad) a moment ago. It's not easy to figure out how the updates are done. I will try to find the best way myself. I read though that usual Credit Cards are no more allowed via Serif. 🤔. In counterpart, I understand why Apple's stores are not useful. ( Special bundles or other material ) All the Best

For custoer privacy reasons, and possibly for internal business reasons, none of the Stores shares customer information with the other Stores. Thus Apple does not know anything about your purchases from Serif, and Serif does not know anything about your purchases from Apple. 3 hours ago, Lajeunesse said: I read though that usual Credit Cards are no more allowed via Serif. I have not seen that. It's true that many users seem to have problems using credit cards, but we have no idea how many others are being successful because no one writes in to say that a purchase worked When issues with credit cards occur, I think it is possible that it is an issue with the user's web browser not supporting the required functions. And at least one user reported that the issue was resolved when he turned off the NoScript extension which was blocking JavaScript, that is required for making a credit card purchase.
