How can I switch to Desktop version?

Recommended Posts

Hi, Affinity Team,

I've bought Affinity Designer & Photo from Microsoft Store, cause the official website didn't support alipay in China.

Everything is fine, but it's not convenient to install when there is no network. (I have to restore my Windows OS sometimes)

I'm wondering if I can switch the STORE version to DESKTOP version?

It's a slightly different method, for Windows Store purchases click the three dots in the top right corner of the app and then go to Downloads and updates. Click Get Updates. The updates should then appear.

Got it.

But I means: Is the update frequency also consistent?

Win 10 Pro, i7 6700K, 32Gb RAM, NVidia GTX1660 Ti and Intel HD530 Graphics

Long-time user of Serif products, chiefly PagePlus and PhotoPlus, but also WebPlus, CraftArtistProfessional and DrawPlus.  Delighted to be using Affinity Designer, Photo, and now Publisher, version 1 and now version 2.

iPad Pro (12.9") running Affinity Photo and Designer (iOS 17.1) version 1 and all three version 2 apps.
