Error exporting to PDF with gradient and gaussian blur

Recommended Posts

Exporting to pdf the attached document results on incorrect render of the gaussian blur effect. Tested with all default export settings. (Error disappear if render all is activated)

If I recall was this a former error already solved? a regression? Or a new one?

I've included my pdf result.

Hi @Daniel Gibert,

This seems to be just a bug, not a regression.

Basically, it's caused by your gradient. When you resize a shape that has a radial gradient on it, it does not seem to convert that gradient into an elliptical one. When you export to PDF, the gradient is kept as Radial, but the rasterised (blur) parts are correct. It's an easy workaround for this: Change the gradient type to Elliptical and it should be fine :)
