I have this problem where I expand stroke and try to subtract it to another curve (A) and both curves went missing. But if a create a curve using pentool and subtract it with curve (A) it works well. Do anyone know why this happen? I also tried creating a new layer with 2 curves, one which is from expand stroke and a circle curve. Then subtract it, it works well and the earlier problem does not happen.Does it because of the curve (A) ?

Thank you.

Sometimes it can be the order of the objects in the layers panel. If curve A (the expanded stroke is below a drawn curve and that drawn curve is larger than the expanded stroke curve A then this will result in both objects vanishing, move the expanded stroke curve A above the drawn shape will result in the correct subtraction.

This will result in both objects vanishing

This will result in the expected subtraction
