HGDelevelopments
After downloading the new 1.8.4 update, my Wacom Tablet Express Buttons (which allow me to select items etc.) stopped responding. I checked all the drivers and settings on the Wacom tablet and they were all up to date and correct. I uninstalled Affinity Publisher to install the previous version and my Wacom tablet was working again, so there must be something in the new update that is preventing the tablet from responding. Staff Gabe Posted August 18, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 18, 2020 Hi @HGDelevelopments, Welcome to the forums and sorry for the delated reply. What is your Wacom model number?
RobWu
To add to this, -ALL- my 1.8.4 updates applications stopped working with my Wacom Intuos 4...... I cannot draw or select anything in my artwork. I can do that when I use a mouse. I can access the menu's or add a layer with my pen/tablet. In the FAQ's I found something about changing Wintab stuff in 1.8.4. Is this related? Oh... And I use the pen in 'mouse mode'. Pretty bummed out with this, reverting back to 1.8.3 as long as this behavior exist. rob OK, it seems the workaround as mentioned in the FAQ works for now. It might be nice to had a heads up before installing this though. And I saw the latest beta has a tablet prefs section now for this.
