A long press actually paints a dot before picking a color, which influences the color I am trying to select. A second long press erases the unwanted dot, but the color picker still mixes both the color of the brush and of the image. If, with the brush still selected, I tap on the color swath in the bottom tool bar (to the right of the protect alpha button) to bring up the color selection pop-up menu and then tap and drag the color picker icon in the upper left corner of the pop-up, the color selection is accurate and there is no involuntary painting, but the pop-up flickers and the cursor’s movement is very jittery and not at all accurate. Harsh but hopefully effective. Required due to incompetent government, setting up a failed quarantine system. Businesses suffer as a result. BlessSedman Posted November 9, 2020 Share Posted November 9, 2020 How is this bug not fixed yet? This is such a critical bug. Painting without being able to color pick off the screen directly makes it an excruciatingly slow process. It's been nearly 2 months now and this bug is not fixed in the beta build either. I have to say a couple of times in the last two weeks the colour picker actually worked! 😆👏🏽👏🏽 I was happily surprised because it’s been almost a year now since it was broken for me. But it stopped working again! 😭😭😭Anyway I wonder about all the people who used to use this formerly great app. I’d like to know if they all went back on to Photoshop or Procreate? The beta does install totally separately though so you would still have your 'for work' version. It should be ok to install and test to see if the issue is still there.
