Two Photo's side by side

Recommended Posts

Oh sorry, I have misunderstood.

I've been using the German version, here it is the "Modularer Modus". But I would like to see two pictures in a single window so how is it possible, for example, in Aperture.

After updating to 1.3.5 is no longer usable with me the "Separated Mode". There are no more tools displayed and / or parts from the studio lying motionless in the middle of the screen (see screenshot - Dev. Persona). Am I doing something wrong?

Hi LoBu,

It looks like something odd is going on... Could you try shutting down Affinity Photo, then clicking to launch it again but immediately holding down the Ctrl key. Keep it held down until you get a dialog asking you to reset settings. Tell it to reset and then try to use Separated Mode again. Hopefully everything will be okay now?

Thanks,

Matt

There doesn't seem to be a "Separated Mode" in Affinity Photo 2. Is there an alternate way to show two photos at once?

They removed Separated Mode from the macOS versions of the Affinity applications in V2. It was never in the Windows versions.

Now both handle it as Windows always did. You can drag the image tabs to free them from their docked position, then adjust their position on the screen as you want. Or you can use Window > Arrange > Float.
