Palatino
My Mac mini contains an Intel HD Graphics 5000 (okay), but the 4GB of memory is definitely not enough. Quote Thanks to DeepL.
Staff Dan C Posted August 13, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 13, 2020 Hi @johnhol You can find our system specifications at the top of the page I've linked below - https://affinity.serif.com/photo/full-feature-list/ As can be seen from these, your Mac Mini should certainly be compatible with Affinity. Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! In my experience Affinity requires rather processor power, CPU or GPU, than much (= all available) RAM of a system. It wouldn't make sense to expect to have an amount of RAM installed according to the total amount of used files + linked resources, would it? Though there seem to be situations where even 90 GB aren't sufficient – which makes me think it's rather a matter of memory management than of memory size. https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/search/&q="personabackstore.dat"&search_and_or=and&sortby=relevancy Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

Publisher (+brochure) plus Safari (+some tabs) - from here the system can block at any time. Very bad idea: start Designer or Photo now. thomaso 1 Quote Thanks to DeepL. Your screenshot does not show anything being 'blocked.' In fact, it is showing only 774.5 MB of App Memory ("App-Speicher") currently in use. Wired Memory ("Reservierter Speicher") is memory that cannot be compressed or swapped out to disk, & is currently 1.10 GB. If you hover the pointer over the text of any of these items, a tooltip will pop up explaining what they represent.
