gtp29
I run Windows 10 Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.388) If I try to download the 1.84 Photo Update file I get this screen This app might harm your device Microsoft Defender SmartScreen reported that this app is not commonly downloaded; you should only open files you trust. Name: affinity-photo-1.8.4.exe Publisher: GB, Nottingham, Serif (Europe) Ltd, Serif (Europe) Ltd, Nottinghamshire Show less Keep anywayReport this app as safeLearn more Delete It also suggested that I delete the file as was too dangerous to have on my PC. I have used your products for a long time and so having checked URLs etc I decided that it would be safe I have flagged it as a safe product, but perhaps you need to get in touch with Microsoft about this. Staff stokerg Posted August 12, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 12, 2020 Hi @gtp29, So just to be clear, you are getting this message once you click on the Download link for the update? Also which browser did you use to download the update and we can do some testing this end

I Have attached the properties of the downloaded file as well. The error also happens with some of Microsoft's own apps and utilities, so you are not alone. Staff stokerg Posted August 13, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 13, 2020 Hi gtp29, Thanks for letting us know and we'll keep an eye out for more. We have tried to replicate the issue and haven't been able to, so may have just been a temporary issue
