Can I import a document to publisher that I made in designer?

Hello,

Thanks for a lovely alternative to adobe. Now into the switch and obviously many questions arrise learning affinity. This one I cant seem to find any answer to though: 

Can I import a document to affinity publisher that I made in affinity designer?

@Arp_148 Yes, just use File > Place or Drag and drop.

As @firstdefence says, you can ‘Place’ the file if you want to import it. Alternatively, since the Affinity apps share a single file format, you can simply open your Designer document in Publisher.

Adding to the advice above, if you already have the document open in Designer you can use menu “File → Edit in Publisher”.
Or, if you open the document in Publisher you can switch to the Designer Persona (on the main Toolbar by default, at the left) within Publisher and switch back to Publisher later by going back to the Publisher Persona.
And, you don’t need to save your document to do either of these things, the software will just pass your open document over to the other application/persona. (But you will need to save at some point if you don’t want your changes to be saved lost. [Oops])

I wondered about that too but apparently "Hokey Pokey" is the North American version of "Hokey Cokey."

Either way, it is a hokey explanation! 😁
