Paul Mc
We are using Publisher as a discussion document for a new website design, for layout, copy, images etc. and it is working very well. I'm now tasked with copying text from the pages in the Publisher document into the web page design software (Netbeans) and I'm encountering the following strangeness when viewing the published web page in Chrome: Sprinkled throughout the text are these P SEP boxes which appear where there are paragraph breaks. I'm just using a select text, copy and then paste in the other app. This is a non-printable Unicode character that is not visible in most editors but can be deleted if you know where they are. There is also an L SEP box but I'v not encountered any of those yet. Is there any way I can avoid these characters being included on the clipboard? Wosven
Hi, They corrected such errors when pasting text from the apps, for example you can paste in LibreOffice or Notepad++ and you'll get paragraph breaks, but it doesn't work with all apps, like Textpad or it seems, Netbeans. Old Bruce
There must be a reason that Affinity chose the Unicode paragraph separator and line separator instead of new line or line break. I just don't know what it is, I have a 'Text Factory' set up in BBEdit to replace these when pasting text copied from Publisher. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
