ESPR
There is an effect that is quite trendy at the moment in surreal glitch art. Basically it creates brushstrokes in rainbow colours, that look like its melted. Here is an example: https://gramho.com/media/2367627673664145568 You can find an explanation how this effect is done here (at 3:30): https://youtu.be/layTiR7DoSg?t=209 In PS you need an empty layer above your image and a Hue Saturation Adjustment Layer on top. Then you paint with the Mixer Brush on the empty layer and the rainbow glitch magic happens. Can we do this in Affinity Photo ? If so, how ? Staff stokerg Posted August 11, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 11, 2020 Hi ESPR, I can't see away to do this. I've tried setting up everything in Affinity the same as shown in the above tutorial and can't get it work. It's possible i'm missing something and i'm sure if anyone knows of a method they will post

It almost feels like joyriding a behaviour that was not intentional in the first place, regarding the Mixer Brush and somebody turned it into an effect. I guess not all things can be replicated.
