Peter Wooster
When I try to update Affinity Photo and Affinity Designer in the Mac App Store I get prompted to log into my iTunes account, after I log in it spins a bit and prompts me to log in again. Other updates work fine.
Cecil
MAS did not show available update for 1.8.4, although I have Auto Update set. I clicked my name on bottom left, went tp purchases, Affinity Photo and clicked open. As soon as I clicked open, if ask if I wanted to update. The same occurred 1.8.3. This assumes on is logged in to Apple Account. Staff Dan C Posted August 6, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 6, 2020 Hi @Peter Wooster, Welcome to the forums Unfortunately if this is a login issue with the Mac App Store then we at Affinity have no control over this and cannot investigate further as we aren't given access to any login information from the Mac App Store. I recommend trying the following, and if you're still having trouble you'll need to contact Apple directly. Log out of the Mac App Store, then close the app. Restart your Mac Log back into the App Store, then go to Updates and select Store>Reload Page The update should now show, and hopefully you won't be prompted to sign in again. The other possibility is this app was purchased under a different Apple ID - perhaps try signing in with any old credentials you may have. I hope this helps! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks!
