CMYKDesign
Hello, I have created document size of 960 MB with older Affinity Publisher version (I don't remember the exact version, but file was created on 2019-11-06) everything was okay, but after an update I can't open that file anymore. I have tested Publisher with other documents and now I can open only 25mb or less sized files. How can I fix that issue? CMYKDesign
When trying to open file, the program shows file is loading but in a few seconds the whole program shuts down, despite if file is being opened over the Affinity Publisher (file -> open) or directly through file explorer (run as administrator) @walt.farrell
walt.farrell
Thanks. Did it generate a crash report? Can you share the .afpub file? (If you don't want to share it publicly here then one of the moderators can provide a private upload link for you to use.) Staff Gabe Posted August 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2020 Hi both, Here's an upload link @CMYKDesign: https://www.dropbox.com/request/HzhBNdfMnthgWoVzsmb2
CMYKDesign
Thank you for the link, I have uploaded the file. @Gabe When opening this or any other file larger than ~25MB the program shuts off. The problem appeared after an update. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the program; I have even tried deleting Adobe InDesign but nothing helped. @walt.farrell
Staff Pauls Posted August 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2020 the file loaded for me - so it may be related to one or more of the linked images or a disk/disk space Could be worth seeing how much free space is on the drive with your windows temporary folder. Have you run a disk check where the images are stored ?
