suilven
With Mac Catalina and High Sierra (iMac and Macbook Pro respectively) the keyboard shortcut of option/backspace for inpainting a selection in version 1.8.4 deletes the selection. In version 1.8.3 this worked as expected and inpainted the selection. In version 1.8.4 if the "Edit" menu is selected (dropped down) the keyboard shortcut functions as in 1.8.3 by inpainting the selection. suilven
Hi thanks for the reply. It maybe related, the shortcut in my preferences is the same as in the edit menu. I didn't try changing to different key combo yet. I tried two different key combos with the same result, the key combo only works when the edit menu is dropped down. As I mentioned before the key combo works when the edit menu is dropped down. It worked as expected in 1.8.3. My guess is simply that something got missed when rolling the new version. cheers
Staff Gabe Posted August 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2020 Hi both, It is indeed the issue Carl linked to. Now logged It seems that Option + Backspace ignores the Option modifier key.
