FergusB
Following the latest upgrade to Affinity Photo 1.8.4 (iPad Pro iPadOS 13.5.1) external LUTs can no longer be loaded. The file selection screen appears but the *.cube files are greyed out and not selectable. This suggests the filetype is not being recognised. DM1
I’ve experienced this issue in the past. Some other apps that utilise LUTs can take control. 😠 Fortunately I can still access my LUTs after the update so maybe look at temporarily uninstalling any adobe apps. They seem to be the main source of issues. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Chris B Posted August 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2020 This looks like a potential regression. I believe this was fixed until recently but we are now seeing reports of it being broken in 1.8.4. Renaming from .cube to .cub should work around this. To the best of my knowledge file endings cannot be modified on an iPad. Or am I missing something?
Staff Chris B Posted August 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2020 I usually use my Windows machine or iMac to rename the file if it's on the cloud. If you only have an iPad you might not be able to. I would need to look it up Quote How to format a bug report | Learning Resources | List of V2 FAQs | YouTube Tutorials
