Aad Slingerland
My Windows 10 desktop shows no problems with the Paint Brush tool. AF version is identical to yours: 1.8.4.693 I tested with a (real) old fashioned mouse and a Wacom Intuos tablet. What peripheral do you use? Mouse, tablet? rahadianrihadi
It seems re-installing doesn't fix the problem. The problem comes again on my PC. this time, basic brush works okay, but another brush, laggy. mouse and wacom, problems on both. I'll try going back to 1.8.3... bug_1.8.4.mp4
Aad Slingerland
Sorry to hear but I cannot reproduce this on my computer, just tried all kinds of brushes, no laggy issues, however. Maybe you can have a look at this link: https://fixthephoto.com/wacom-tablet-lagging.html
Staff Dan C Posted August 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2020 Hi @rahadianrihadi, Sorry to see you're having trouble. Firstly, using a brush at around 20 times the default size is likely to cause the brush to draw a little slower - however this does look noticeably slower than I'd expect in your video. Can you please try resetting your app to default settings, to see if this helps? You can reset your app back to its default settings by holding down the CTRL key while launching the app. When the Clear User Data window appears, click Select All and then Clear. The app will now open. Be aware that resetting your app back to its default settings will lose any custom settings such as keyboard shortcuts and brushes etc. Many thanks in advance! Quote Please note - I am currently out of the office for a short while whilst recovering from surgery (nothing serious!), therefore will not be available on the Forums during this time. Should you require a response from the team in a thread I have previously replied in - please Create a New Thread and our team will be sure to reply as soon as possible. Many thanks! Thanks Dan, Tried this, the problem still persist. But Chris B told me on another thread to add this on Photo shortcut properties: C:\Program Files\Affinity\Photo\Photo.exe" --legacy-wintab The problem gone for now.
