PhotoEditorTrainee
Trying to use the brush tool on an inverted mask in Affinity Photo (following a tutorial). However, the options for opacity, hardness, and flow do not show up in the context toolbar. I am a newbie to the software and haven't been able to find anything online that shows how to fix this. Update: I was using the Selection Brush Tool rather than the Paint Brush Tool. The Selection Brush Tool doesn't have all the context toolbar options as the Paint Brush Tool (newbie mistake 😅) Edited August 3, 2020 by PhotoEditorTrainee Figured out the problem
Staff stokerg Posted August 4, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 4, 2020 Hi @PhotoEditorTrainee and Welcome to the Forums, The Context Toolbar is showing, you just have the wrong tool selected. You have the Selection Brush selected and not the Paint Brush, which is further down the tools on the left
Jonacello
What do I do if the entire bar starting with 'Mode:' is not showing? It seems to have disappeared (I have used it in the past). I am working with the selection tool. I am working on a Mac.
GarryP
That’s the Context Toolbar. Go to the “View” menu and select “Show Context Toolbar” to see it again.
