CYAN4S
Affinity designer is not responding when I try to open the document or create new one. The program doesn't crash when I just open the program. I used this program without problems before, but the problem causes at unexpected time, so I have no idea which third party program makes the problem. I tried unistalling and reinstalling the program, but it doesn't make any changes. This problem has occurred several times in the past, and in the meantime, it was solved by initializing Windows or using an older version. Oddly, version 1.7.1 does not cause any problems, and problem occurs whe I use 1.7.2 and up. I guess some system changes in 1.7.2 and up cause a problem. I'm using the latest version of Windows 10 Education, and it's Korean enviornment. This is the program list installed in my laptop. I upload my laptop enviornment, using dxdiag. Staff stokerg Posted August 5, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2020 Hi to you both @CYAN4S, @JimRad and Welcome to the Forums, Normally when crashing on opening a file or starting a new one, it's down to the graphics card and performing a clean install the latest version of your graphics drivers, should resolve the issue. JimRad
Thank you so much, it is working now, great! I reinstalled the latest NVIDIA driver for my 10 year old DELL Precision M4500 and it seems to have done the job. /Jim stokerg
