Problem Converting to PDF

Recommended Posts

Another strange behaviour I noticed since the update to 1.8.4 is that a couple of documents that I exported as PDFs have now about 4 to 5 times the size with the same exporting options. I tried several options, even less DPI and JPEG quality than I had used the last time with 1.8.3, but the PDFs are still much bigger than before. The only thing I changed in all documents was a small typo, apart from that, everything remained the same (content, images, fonts, number of pages), so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug.

Hi Gabe, unfortunately, I don’t have the older project files anymore. Sharing fonts is not possible either due to license restrictions. If you haven’t changed anything in this matter, the problem might be on my end anyway. Although I still can’t imagine what it should be. Thanks.

If, at all, 1.8.4 created this issue. Until 1.8.3 I was happy with the sizes of the PDFs. So if you haven’t changed anything in this version that could have an impact on PDF compression, the reason for the bigger file sizes might be on my end.
