Caliente
I think you have not converted your text to curves when you export. Have you checked this option? Choose "text as curves" and try again.
Staff Gabe Posted August 3, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 3, 2020 Hi @Sam Pandiangan, Welcome to the forums. Can you use this link to attach your project file and fonts you used please? https://www.dropbox.com/request/CJWOUA5rb29lT8HdFmy7
Ivo
Another strange behaviour I noticed since the update to 1.8.4 is that a couple of documents that I exported as PDFs have now about 4 to 5 times the size with the same exporting options. I tried several options, even less DPI and JPEG quality than I had used the last time with 1.8.3, but the PDFs are still much bigger than before. The only thing I changed in all documents was a small typo, apart from that, everything remained the same (content, images, fonts, number of pages), so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug. Staff Gabe Posted August 4, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 4, 2020 Hi @Ivo, Welcome to the forums. Can you use the same link to upload your PDF, project file and fonts you used please?
Ivo
Hi Gabe, unfortunately, I don’t have the older project files anymore. Sharing fonts is not possible either due to license restrictions. If you haven’t changed anything in this matter, the problem might be on my end anyway. Although I still can’t imagine what it should be. Thanks. Staff Gabe Posted August 14, 2020 Staff Share Posted August 14, 2020 We don't even know what the problem is/was in your case, so can't say if 1.8.4 fixed your issue.
Ivo
If, at all, 1.8.4 created this issue. Until 1.8.3 I was happy with the sizes of the PDFs. So if you haven’t changed anything in this version that could have an impact on PDF compression, the reason for the bigger file sizes might be on my end.
