Anna Marie
Hello Affinity Users, For the first time I am having difficulty saving my work on JPEG. I have not ran out of disc space. Any advice?
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Anna Marie. Your description "having difficulty saving" doesn't give us much to work with. Please explain the difficulty in more detail. Screenshots would help, along with any error messages. Also what OS do you use, and which application? You either need to clean up the existing contents of the disk - delete unnecessary files (images, videos, duplicates, clean up temp) and unnecessary/unused applications, or buy a larger/second disk. Pšenda
And why else would she write it here if she didn't have a problem with disk space? So we would know that was not the problem, perhaps? (Honestly, I'm not sure what the problem is, and that's why I asked for more details.) emmrecs01 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.3, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.3.
Neal S
Hi Since the latest update I too am having problems saving a publisher file to jpeg. It saves it ok but when you go to open the image in Windows 10 - it comes on for a second or so, then goes very dark. I tried creating a pdf then using an online converter to create a jpeg which solved the problem for me in a way. The problem appears to be the creation of a jpeg within Publisher. No other images in windows 10 have this problem, nor any images prior to the update. Thanks Neal
Komatös
Hello @Neal Swelcome to the forums. This incorrect display is caused by the Windows Photo App. The programme has problems with jpg files created in CMYK. Neal S
Hello Komatos. Thanks for the reply - the problem is that everything was working fine until the latest update for Affinity Publisher. I have never had this problem before. Cheers Neal
