000
Is there a way to fix the height of table cells so that they don't expand when / if the text doesn't fit?
Joachim_L
AFAIK, no. What would be a use case for this? 000
A crossword puzzle where the cells need to be exactly square. If tables don't work, I'll use text boxes instead.

Joachim_L
I think you know this all by yourself to avoid placing the small triangles manually ... something I thought that it is a good idea. 000 and Palatino 1 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed

Decorations are not a hidden feature, but what is possible and some things even the developers might not thought of when they built a feature is exciting. Rotate Table 90 degrees. Select all cells and in the Table Panel rotate text to match (probably best done before you start adding text to the table) The "height" of each cell now appears fixed, on screen, but now the "width" is variable Joachim_L and 000 2 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum.
