Font menu closes before font can be selected

I can't recreate what triggers this but at some point when I'm working I will click on the font menu dropdown, the menu drops down as expected but when I move the cursor the menu closes. If I am quick enough I can select a font if it's on screen at the time.

Restarting Designer usually sorts this for a while.

Can't be sure but I think this is only after 1.8.3. It's not something that happened until recently anyway.

Designer 1.8.3

OSX 10.11.6

Hi pualv,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
Can you confirm you are using Separated Mode and have multiple documents opened please? If that's the case, working with a single document opened at a time should prevent this from happening. Alternatively, if you need to work with multiple documents opened in Separated Mode, go to menu Window > Merge All Windows, to merge all document tabs into a single window - it should then work as usual without closing the font dropdown. Working in regular mode (not Separated Mode) shouldn't cause issues as well.

This bug is already fixed in the current Designer Customer Beta.
