AntonPB
Hi guys, I bought myself an Wacom Intuos S a few days ago. Everything seems to work fine, except zooming in or out. Sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn´t. When it doesn´t it either just doesn´t zoom or the brush starts and I can´t stop it, even if the pen doesn´t touch the tablet. I tried some different settings (see yellow mark on screenshot), but that only made it so that all I could do was scroll. Is this a bug or is there something wrong with my tablet? Thanks for the help PS: I work on a Windows Edited July 25, 2020 by AntonPB forgot to mention which computer system I use
Staff Lee D Posted July 27, 2020 Staff Share Posted July 27, 2020 Been testing with a Wacom Intuos and it hasn't failed on me yet. Which method are you using to zoom in/out? Have you setup an Express Key to Zoom in the Wacom Tablet Properties? Are you using Space + CTRL and then tapping the tablet/tap slide left/right? Haven´t heard of the second thing you asked. is that better? I work on a Laptop, so I now switch back to my touchpad to zoom in/out.
Rian
This has been an issue for me from day one. Using Affinity Photo I'm unable to zoom in using the Wacom Intuos pro. I can click to zoom out, but zooming in does nothing. The only way I can zoom in is to draw a marquee rectangle. Or switch to a mouse to click. Wacom is working perfectly with all other software, including the dreaded Adobe suite There's definitely something strange going on.

Instead of using the default zoom command in tablet settings, change it to the hotkey's for zoom that Photo uses which ctrl+ and ctrl-. I had the same issue. airborne18
Zoom and that Autoscroll seem to be the commands in the Wacom driver that do not work consistently across software applications. Once you move away from software like Photoshop and some of the other old and well established graphic apps you have look at keyboard shortcuts. I assume it has to do with what programming api's they use in their code. Affinity for some reason does not like the generic Zoom and Rotate. For Affinity I basically had to ditch all of the Wacom generic Zoom and Rotate commands and setup the Touch Ring with the keyboard shortcuts.
