dpathopscotch Posted July 24, 2020 Share Posted July 24, 2020 I need to export a few files to PDF format so that they can be edited in illustrator. Maybe this isnt the best way, but i tried exporting as eps, and everything was exported as curves instead of editable type I . I have been exporting other projects as "pdf (for export)" and most of the files have been fine, albeit a bit janky at times and have to sort of reassemble the way the text gets formatted. This particular file however, no matter what way i choose to export it as pdf, I cant get the type to export not as jibberish text. Is there something that im missing here? Thanks for the help all. Staff Lee D Posted July 25, 2020 Staff Share Posted July 25, 2020 The text thats affected uses the GT America font, when exporting to PDF have you checked to see if Embed fonts is selected on the More option menu.
