Yaseen_Brown
I'm looking for a convenient way to switch to a outline view so I can work to a reference image underneath. Winsome and k_au
GarryP
Related issue?: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/120668-template-layer-in-affinity-designer/ The quick answer is: You can’t do that. The Outline View is well-named as it only lets you see the outlines of the layers (and other UI stuff). To be able to also see the contents of rasters then I think that would need yet another ‘view mode’. However, there may be workarounds which someone else might be able to advise on. Joachim_L
You can lower the opacity of the image underneath. This is my workaround, maybe there are better. Sounds like you would like to support my feature request for a reference layer (also visible in outline mode) with an easy to usekeyboard shortcut 🙂 Quote "The user interface is supposed to work for me - I am not supposed to work for the user interface."
