If from the Mac app Store, run it and check if there's an update in the Updates section. If from the Affinity Store go to menu Affinity Designer > Check for Updates. Make sure you are connected to the internet/you haven't blocked at apps. When they were originally released, AD and APh were only available from the Mac App Store. If you sign in to the MAS using the same Apple ID as you used when you purchased your licence for AD, you should be able to access the installer for the latest retail version. With the Mac app Store running, go to menu Store and look at the bottom entry command. Does it say Sign in or View My Account with your e-mail between parenthesis? If it says sign-in, click on it and sign in with your Apple ID credentials.
