MilitaryRaiden
Is it me or does Designer just crash when you leave the Mac alone for a couple of seconds? The app repeatedly crashed today for no reason - hope it gets patched soon. Sent reports before reopening though.
Staff Callum Posted August 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2015 Hi Military Raiden, Welcome to the forums :) We are not currently aware of any issues like this, there are some compatibility issues with El Capitan. MilitaryRaiden
Hi Military Raiden, Welcome to the forums :) We are not currently aware of any issues like this, there are some compatibility issues with El Capitan. Which version of OS X are you running? Hello and thanks for the welcome. I'm on Yosemite so no chance of beta bugs. Bear in mind that the crashes are getting more frequent now. Should I uninstall and reinstall the application?
Staff Callum Posted August 11, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 11, 2015 Hi MilitaryRaiden, Before uninstalling or reinstalling the program please could you try resetting it. To reset the program hold down the CTRL key then open the program, a reset window will appear please click Select all and then click Clear. If this does not work I would advise trying a reinstall. You could also try the Customer Beta Build to see if you get the same issue. C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. MilitaryRaiden
Hello again, Callum. Just made the reset - thanks for the tip - and hopefully all will be well. If problems continue I'll get back to you. Btw why try a customer beta when I have the full version that is bought and paid for?
Staff Callum Posted August 11, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 11, 2015 Because the Customer Beta is more recent so it will have newer fixes and features that are yet to be rolled out to the App Store version.
