Hi,

I've selected an area and select the correct level, but it's driving me mad that Affinity just only fills it white and whatever I try doesn't use the primary colour I have chosen. What's going on here? Am I stupid or is Affinity using a bit of a complicated workflow here?

Try turning off this layer:

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.4
Affinity Designer 2.4.0 | Affinity Photo 2.4.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.4.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

What are the 4 Adjustment Layers(?) doing?

Could one of them be turning it white?

Turn all of them off and what happens?

Deselect the 4 "adjustment" layers

Resample the colour from the main image

Select that colour and Fill as before

Have the rights to use it for a video project, for nothing else, so please handle with care.

You can now edit your post and remove the file if you don't want it to remain on the forum any longer.
