How to delete a project - iPad Pro 10inch 2020

Recommended Posts

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, @ChrisJArch. :)

The ‘Close’ option for a file removes it from the sandbox, effectively deleting it (unless you’ve saved a copy to somewhere else on your iPad, or to cloud storage). If you want to delete a project folder, I think you may first have to close all of the files it contains.

thanks for taking the time to help.

I know how to delete files by closing them.
However, I created a project which has no files in it to delete. With files the widget gives the option to close, with a project the widget only offers rename.
still stuck with it. :(

Hi ChrisJArch,

Any chance you could attach a screen recording showing the Project Folder?  Normally if you only have the Rename option, there will be something within the project as @Alfred has said.  Also is this for Designer or Photo?

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

I don’t know how this happened but there was a file in the folder but it was black so no thumbnail. Anyway, when I deleted the file the options fore deleting the project changed and it is now deleted.

thanks, problem solved.
