Arpitha
Please add the functionality to add names to Guides in the Guides Manager and also show the Guide Names along with the guide.
GarryP
Welcome to the forums. Under which circumstances would this be useful? In other words, can you give an explanation of why you would want to be able to name guides? Also, what do you mean by “also show the Guide Name along with the guide”? Do you mean in the Guide Manager or while viewing the document? And, if you mean while viewing the document, where would you suggest that the name was displayed in relation to both vertical and horizontal guides? Pšenda
Rather than naming the guide, I find it more appropriate to set their color, or line type (solid, dashed, dotted). 10 hours ago, GarryP said: And, if you mean while viewing the document, where would you suggest that the name was displayed in relation to both vertical and horizontal guides? The name could be displayed as Hint/Tooltip, or only when moving the mouse as the distance between objects.
