AshTeriyaki
See above, it'd be dandy. Aammppaa and Alfred
Staff MattP Posted August 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2015 I agree - it's something I use often, so why not... :) Alfred and AshTeriyaki

Staff MattP Posted August 10, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 10, 2015 ...I'm trying to fix the underlying algorithm occasionally failing in addition to using our new curve-intersection code to generate the points of intersection - and it's proving to be a bit of a balancing act at the moment which makes me uncomfortable... I don't want a temperamental solution, so I'm just trying to take my time and stare at it until the right solution comes forward and hits me in the face! ;) A_B_C
Keven
I've been hoping for this as well and thought I might be able to set it in the keyboard shortcuts preferences but couldn't find it.
Pavel
Hey guys, any update on this topic? I'd really like to be able to do something like CMD+OPTION+CONTROL+SHIFT+F13+X+MOUSE_LEFT_CLICK and execute the "Find in Layers Panel" function.Kidding :) A simpler shortcut should suffice. I also looked for it in the keyboard shortcuts list and couldn't find it.Looking forward to the next update, keep up the great work!
justWolf
would be very useful! :)
Alfred
I agree - it's something I use often, so why not... :) As the man said more than a year ago, why not? :P Quote Alfred Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for Windows • Windows 10 Home/Pro Affinity Designer/Photo/Publisher 2 for iPad • iPadOS 17.4.1 (iPad 7th gen)
Tim Gummer
Still hanging out for this one - diving into layers is something I'm doing all the time and a right-click is a productivity hit to do that often. Strandbummler
I just stumbled upon this. I don't really understand the decisionmaking process which shortcuts should be costumizable and which ones not. I hope i don't sound ungrateful. I just wanna know :) Maybe you could put it into the Layer-Menu in the Menubar, easy as pie, ini't? Tim Gummer

AshTeriyaki
There's an option for this in preferences now, so the layer panel shows what is currently selected, that's me satisfied :)
bendito33
This is perfect! Even better than a keyboard shortcut
Pavel
I didn't quite understand the new option initially. If others are also wondering about it, you can now go to Preferences - User Interface and tick the checkbox "Show selection in Layer Panel". Still, I would really like to have the option to "trigger" this function by doing something like a "ctrl/cmd + click".
