Selection tab two fingers

Hello Affinity

i use affinity Photo on the iPad Pro.

when i want to “deselect” and tab with two fingers on the screen there is no pop op screen with the option to “deselect” or “copy.”

Also i don’t see the buttons in the right toolbar with the option “undo/redo”

Please help because i like the affinity app verry much

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Servaas.

I think you’ve been looking at an old tutorial: a two-finger tap now means ‘Undo’. You need to long-press (i.e. press and hold down one finger on the screen) to get the pop-up menu.

Go to ‘Preferences > Interface’ and turn on ‘Show Undo and Redo buttons’ to display the ‘<‘ and ‘>’ symbols for those functions below the Studio icons down the side of the screen.

Have you got the undo and redo buttons (< >) setup  they are not included  on the standard installation ?

Just to be clear, Alfred is correct in saying press and hold finger on screen briefly, but you won’t get the menu until after you lift your finger.🙂
