Bro
Affinity Photo does not recognize plugins unless they are in a folder called Plugins under the Affinity/Photo directory where it was run from. Even though it says you can browse for plugins this is the only place it will work. Affinity does not create this folder under 1.8 so you have to create it. John Rostron
Have you tried thefollowing: Open the Plugins dialogue (Help > Preferences > Photoshop Plugins). Click on the Add button. Navigate to the folder where your Plugin was installed and locate the folder with the .8bf plugin file. Note that you may have to choose the 64-bit version. Click on OK. Repeat as necessary for any other plugin. Close the Plugin dialogue box and Restart Affinity Photo. Alternatively, at step 2 you can click on the box to Open the Default Plugins folder. This opens a File Explorer/Finder window and you can copy plugins directly into this folder. You will still need to restart Photo. Tilo
After following all instructions above, the plugins are visible, can be selected, but do not work. There is no window opening to use the plug ins. I am using AP 1.9 on Macbook Pro M1, OS15.
