Is this a bug?

Recommended Posts

Maybe someone can explain what is happening here. In support area it was suggested this is an anti-aliasing issue.

The black is showing underneath the green layer. The object used as a mask is the same Crossguard object. Theoretically, they should cancel each other out enough that it nothing should show through? Unless I am doing something wrong.

I saw a "solution" (painful) that involves changing Coverage Map in Blend Options.

Not so much a solution as a workaround (albeit a good one in some scenarios) and it isn’t currently available in the iPad apps. :(

Hi debraspicher,

Unfortunately this is a common issue that we're aware of. It acctually affects many drawing applications due to the way clipping is handled, however it is something that we would eventually like to address. Please see this post from the MattP on the situation:

Meanwhile, is the Coverage Map control coming to the iPad apps any time soon? ears.gif
