SEW Region Magazine
I have managed to put a hyperlink over 4 cells in a table in Affinity publisher. How do I delete it? Edited July 2, 2020 by SEW Region Magazine
Staff Callum Posted July 10, 2020 Staff Share Posted July 10, 2020 Hi SEW Region Magazine, Welcome to the forums You should just need to right click the object with the hyperlink applied then go to Interactive > Delete Hyperlink. If this doesn't work please could you provide a copy of the file? Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP. SEW Region Magazine
Thank you for your reply Due to the sensitivity of the document I have deleted the original but have re-generated one using fictitious names and addresses. On the original I produc ed in no "No Style" untitled.afpub
R C-R
From what I can tell from the provided .afpub file, in each row there is not a single hyperlink over 4 cells but instead 4 individual email hyperlinks, one in each cell. So to remove them I think you could highlight all the text in a cell, right-click & use Interactive > Delete Hyperlink, but you would have to do this separately for each cell, which would be extremely tedious & time consuming. Somewhat less time consuming is to open the Hyperlink Studio panel to show all the hyperlinks, where you can see that there are 4 links associated with each name: Unfortunately there does not seem to be any reliable way to select more than one of them at a time, but if you start with the first listed item selected & then click the "Remove Hyperlink" button (the trashcan icon at the bottom), as the link is deleted the next one is automatically selected. So if you just keep clicking that button repeatedly, you will eventually remove all the links.
