Gear maker Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 Elizabeth, welcome to the forum. I am going to guess you are using Affinity Photo. Do you mean the text tool is missing from the Tools panel? Or have you created Text Frame that is not visible? If the former go to Menu>View>Customize Tools you can add the Text tool back in. If you mean the latter there should be a Text layer in the layer panel that you can click or double click on to find where it is. According to the topic title "Can't find the text tool", this is the first case. Maybe it's the problem in switching the button (Frame Text Tool and Artistic Text Tool) using the small triangle in the lower right corner.
