Still struggling with Designer

Hi

I had a thread running a while ago in which I was grumbling about Affinity Designer 7 not opening on my Windows 10 PC.

I had it installed for some time and had previously used it successfully, but then it wouldn't open.

After some time going backwards and forwards it was suggested that I create a new Windows account, re load the software and see if it worked.

I didn't do it for a while, as I didn't want to mess with my machine, so I guess the thread was taken down.

I did it today.  To my surprise all of my apps from the other account still showed and worked - so I hope I did it right, as I expected a clear screen.

I uninstalled and attempted to re-install Affinity Designer 8, but it still doesn't work.

It's really frustrating, as its taken several hours of my time and no resolution.

My copy of Affinity Photo works fine on my main account

Hi gilesnick59,

Did you also try the setting Dan advised in the other thread you had been posting on here?

This isn't common behaviour for the app, so it may still take some time to get to the bottom of the issue.
