Pantone swatches should be highlighted in the palette when used in the selected object

Recommended Posts

How do I know I've just choosen Pantone P90-15 C?

User case: It should be highlighted so I can keep on searching the best match for a colour in a palette, without clicking many time on the same swatche because nothing tell me it's the one applied to this rectangle (usually I would have at least 2 rectangles to compare colours, and select one of them to check which Pantone I already selected, but this pic wasused to report another bug and was handy).

More annoying is the fact, that changing stroke / fill the used colour is not instantly shown in the palette. You have to deselect the element and select it again to see the colour in the palette.

Hi Wosven,

I'll get this passed on to development to see if it is something that can be done. In the meantime however you can use the Colour Panel (set to 'Tint') and it will show you the Pantone spot names which will allow you see (at least in text) what colour is applied.
